UPDATE: Police searched the suspects belongings and did not locate a firearm. However, they did locate a broken bottle which they think may have been the item that made a gunshot like sound.
HPD officers responded to a scene at a hotel at 1777 Walker Street in Downtown Houston.
“About 10:55 p.m. a male fired a shot inside the lobby of the Marriott Hotel before fleeing upstairs. He is in custody. No reports of injuries.” -Houston Police Twitter
